A lot of us have an incorrect view of our identity. We let our family, friends, and other people influence us. We base our identity on what we look like or what we do. But God is the only one who sees us as we truly are. Our sense of identity should be based on how He sees us, who He says we are. God says that we are loved, valued, and competent.
