Statement of Faith

God is the creator of all things. He has always existed, and He is eternal. God is one God in three persons (the Father, the Son Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit). He is all powerful, all knowing, and all present.

Jesus Christ is God’s Son. He was born of the Holy Spirit and of Mary, who was a virgin. Jesus is all God and all man. He lived a sinless life and died on a cross for the sins of the whole world. After three days, Jesus was resurrected from the dead.

The Holy Spirit is the third person of the Trinity. He indwells believers in Jesus Christ. He convicts us of sin, teaches us God’s will, and comforts us.

The Bible is God’s Inspired Word. It is true and without errors. The Holy Spirit inspired the different writers of the books of the Bible. God speaks to us through His Word.

All people have sinned. We have broken God’s laws. The penalty for sin is death and separation from God for all eternity. God requires a blood sacrifice as a payment for sin. There is nothing that we can do on our own to be right with God. We are under God’s condemnation. Yet, God loves everyone in the world, past, present, and future. In His love, grace, and mercy, God provided a way of salvation.

Jesus, God’s Son, came to earth to take our punishment for sin. He died on the cross to pay the price for our sins. He did what we could not do for ourselves. Everyone who repents and accepts Jesus as Savior and Lord will be saved.  Jesus conquered sin and death by His death and resurrection. Because He rose from the dead, we who believe in Him can have victory over sin and will spend eternity in heaven with God.

Forty days after Jesus’s resurrection, He ascended into heaven. He is at God’s right hand, interceding for believers.

God will not hold back His wrath on sinful mankind forever. There is coming a seven-year tribulation period when God’s wrath will be unleashed on the world. At the end of the tribulation period, Jesus will return to earth to rule over the whole world for a thousand years. At the end of the thousand years, Satan and the demons will be thrown into hell. God will judge unbelievers according to their deeds. Everyone whose name is not found in the Lamb’s Book of Life will be thrown into hell, where they will spend eternity in pain and agony, separated from God
